Comment of the Day: Bionic Cats Are the Epitome of Our Entitlement Culture

As if housecats weren’t already super-entitled, some kindly people had to go and strap some wheels to one that was missing its back legs. The result, according to Claudia George, is the expansion of our voracious welfare state:

Why are we rewarding animals for losing their legs, now? Seriously… we are going to create a whole class of entitled animals who think, “Hey, I don’t have to get out of the driveway. I’ll just get me some sweet wheels.” It’s just the expansion of the welfare state.
