Watch Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus (Fake?) Fight at the MTV VMAs

Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj’s confrontation over Miley’s recent quotes to the New York Times about Nicki’s now-resolved Twitter fight with Taylor Swift came, as anticipated, at the 2015 MTV VMAs, after Nicki and Taylor kissed and made up with a joint performance only a few minutes earlier.

“And now, back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press, Miley what’s good,” said Nicki, after winning for Best Hip-Hop Video. “Hey, we’re all in this industry, we all do interviews, and we all know how they manipulate shit. Nicki, congratulations,” Miley said, before going on to imply that Nicki shouldn’t be upset for not being nominated for Video of the Year.

“For the record,” says Judge Kara Brown, who is currently in the audience at the VMAs, “it definitely didn’t seem like Miley knew Nicki was going to say that.”
