A reader over at Bunim/Murray Productions sent us these awesome photos of a Justin Bieber First Arrest celebratory cake they enjoyed today, and I admit, this got me a little teary-eyed. Everyone knows your first arrest cake is a super big deal. Mine had Cinderella on it!
It's the time of year when all I can think about is a slice of sweet, creamy pumpkin pie. It's all I can do not to just mix a jar of pumpkin pie spice with a can of pureed pumpkin into a vat of whipped cream and then just start shoveling it into my mouth using a pop tart. Ah, autumn.
Is it pie? Pastry? Who cares! Says Cakespy (and unilateral-dessert-lover) Jessie Olsen, "The concept is simple: simply put your pie scraps on a baking sheet, slice them into fry-sized pieces, brush with butter, cinnamon and sugar, and bake until crispy."
Maybe because we never did any sort of Scouting, merit badges have always held a certain fascination — especially when they're for things we can actually earn, like bacon-eating!

And that's that. For all of the years, the tears, and the laughter, the war of Pie Vs. Cake today comes to an end, with Cake waving the white flag. But Pie's win is not without controversy!
Butler/Duke who? NCAA wha? Today's real championship is about one pie, one cake, and the final battle to bring closure to an endless war. It all comes down to this. And there can only be one.
As we near the final moments of Pie vs. Cake championship, wherein one dessert shall be granted glory, we've asked the team cheerleaders to step forward in a personal appeal for their respective favorites. Sadie's making the case for Pie.
The last round of voting really came down to the wire, with both Cake Conference winners claiming victory by a hair. In both cases, we had upsets — making today's conference championship even more exciting.
