Power, the only Starz series I religiously watch (s/o to mom’s cable subscription), returned for its second season this past Saturday. Showrunner Courtney Kemp Agboh spoke about how the female characters literally run the show.
These days the multiplex is downright lousy with Strong Female Characters. Action, fantasy and science fiction movies all seem to feature some tough-as-nails woman in pleather pants, ready with a glower and a gun. So why does these feel so unsatisfying?

Well, for starters, how about having it actually be good? Oh, and throwing out "Strong Female Characters" (tm) once and for all?
