Megyn Kelly to Mike Huckabee: 'I Have News For You' About Women

Latest

What is going on with Megyn Kelly lately??????? Here we have yet another clip of her smacking down the dang patriarchy with a single, elegant flick of her french manicured hand.

After Mike Huckabee complained of the “trashy” and profane women he encountered in New York on a recent radio appearance, Kelly invited him onto her show to explain himself—she initially thought he was referring to the incredible, once-in-a-lifetime moment she accidentally called him “Fuckabee” on air.

Noooooo, Huckabee protests. Totally not you, Megyn. This is a big-picture thing. The former Governor of Arkansas and author of God, Guns, Grits and Gravy explains that he is bravely pushing back against “a culture that is explicitly crude.” He considers the people who live in cultural centers like New York City to be in a “bubble” that shields them from this basic understanding of how women people should behave, unlike the true American heartland-dwellers: “A lot of people who live in their own bubbles do not see the culture the same way that people do in the land of god, guns, grits and gravy.” Okay!

Kelly lets her guest patter away happily for a good 5 minutes, and then whips around and whacks him in the jowls with this:

“Well I do have news for you before I let you go. We are not only swearing. We’re drinking, we’re smoking, we’re having premarital sex with birth control before we go to work—and sometimes boss around a bunch of men!”

Huckabee cringes. “Ugh,” he says. “I just don’t wanna hear that.”

“Sorry,” says not-sorry Megyn Kelly. “That’s just the reality, Gov.” Hero.
