It's Time for Some More Joyous, Sweaty, World Cup Thighlights

Latest

Hello and we’re back with another rendition of thighlights! Over the past couple of days some people lost soccer games and some people won soccer games but everybody worked up a sweat, whether they were watching a game or playing in it.

According to the many people screaming outside my window on Sunday evening, some seriously intense soccer is being played these days. Luckily, once soccer season is over, you won’t have to go far for some physically impressive individuals. We have a real bounty right here in the good old US of A.

(From left to right that’s Jermaine Jones, Kyle Beckerman and Tim Howard)

They’re all so nice to each other! (When things go well)

(Juan Mata, Sergio Ramos and Cesc Fabregas of Spain)

If facing a loss, when in doubt, take your shirt off/hug a teammate.

(Edin Dzeko of Bosnia and Herzegovina, USA’s DaMarcus Beasley, and Mile Jedinak and Alex Wilkinson of Australia)

[Takes a break and stretches]

(Marcelo Vieria of Brazil)

Say HOLA to the back Fernando Torres of Spain, who had this pic snapped of him when he was in the middle of changing a torn jersey.

[Takes a break and stretches a friend]

(Memphis Depay and Dirk Kuyt of the Netherlands stretch)

[Takes a break to lie down]

(Matthew Spiranovic, Australia)

[Pause for pensive press conference shot. Some nation’s National Anthem plays.]

(Mats Hummels of Germany and Mathew Leckie of Australia)

We needed those breaks because HI.

(Sergio Ramos, Spain)

UNTIL NEXT TIME!
