Watch the Live-Action Footage Filmed for The Little Mermaid

Disney is reissuing The Little Mermaid on Blu-ray with all sorts of awesome extra goodies that would be especially excellent if you knew anyone with a Blu-ray player.

This behind-the-scenes footage showing how the animators studied live-action model Sherri Lynn Stoner for Ariel and a (sexy) octopus for Queen Sea Bitch in Charge Ursula is excellent stuff. I’m expecting the stuff on the Blu-ray release to be even more interesting. People with Blu-ray players, please invite me over to watch this while eating from your Costco tub of Red Vines.
