Watch Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar Teach Their Kid How to Kiss

Apparently Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar (well, mostly Jim Bob) felt it was necessary to offer a little kissing demo to Jessa and her fiance Ben, as part of their parental marriage counseling.

This might have something to do with the fact I’ve had nothing but a Coca-Cola, three cups of coffee, some chips and a bunch of peanut M&Ms for breakfast (weird morning), but when I saw the headline on The Raw Story I almost screamed and flung my computer across the room. BOUNDARIES, PEOPLE. Also, isn’t the half the point of marriage counseling talking to a third party about how you’re going to avoid whatever bothers you about your parents’ marriages?

The video features many choice quotes in this little chitchat, such as this gem from Jim Bob: “Both of you’ll like the physical relationship, but the guy, that’ll be kinda the main focus. But, for a woman, communicating is the most important thing.” But, as they’re wrapping things up, Jim Bob adds right quick: “Let me show y’all the best way to kiss, here. If you kiss straight on, your noses hit together.” He demonstrates. “So you have to turn, she turns one way and I turn the other.” I feel like they could’ve figured that out themselves?

Look, plenty of couples managed to make it to the altar without premarital sex over the course of human history without making it weird. The Duggars, as far as can tell, never don’t make it weird.
