Latest

Ke’Arre Stewart and Jennifer Markovsky have been identified as the two other victims killed by shooter Robert Lewis Dear during Friday’s attack at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs. 44-year-old Garrett Swasey, a University of Colorado police officer and father of two, was Dear’s third victim.

Stewart’s wife told KKTV he leaves behind his two children whose “lives will never be the same.” She also said the family wants justice for Stewart. The Denver Post reports Stewart was originally from Texas and was an Army veteran served in Iraq. His friend, Amburh Butler, described Stewart as “a stand-up guy” and a “good friend and an amazing listener.”

Jennifer Markovsky, originally from Waianae, Hawaii, was at the clinic supporting a friend, reports Hawaii News Now. “Life was too short my beloved daughter,” Markovsky’s father, John Ah King, wrote on Facebook. “I was waiting to see you soon.” Markovsky’s friend was shot in the hand.

Nine other people were injured in the shooting. During his arrest, Robert Lewis Dear reportedly said “no more baby parts” to investigators and them he has anti-abortion and anti-government views.
