The World Shall Never See Mariah Carey Star In a Reality TV Show

Latest

It is with great sadness that I must inform all of us that The Elusive Chanteuse wishes to remain elusive when it comes to reality TV.

The singer, who traveled to Israel for a concert, was asked for her thoughts on fame during an interview there, IBT reports. “Some people’s goal is to be famous, not to have a craft or an art that they’re famous for,” said Carey.

She doesn’t mention any names, but we know exactly who she is talking about, don’t we:

“Today, you can be famous just from being on a reality, well, doing—you don’t really have to do much, but you kinda gotta do a lot. And then your whole life is just about being a celebrity and that’s what some people aspire to, because it’s easy and because then everybody knows them and all they see is the bright side of fame.”

Even though everyone who has a reality show these days seems to be making an effort to become the next Kardashian Klan by forcing us to watch their mundane lives, a show with Mariah would be the best one yet. Imagine seeing Mimi don evening gowns while grocery shopping, arrange flowers in her spare time and throw a fit upon entering a room with overhead lighting. If it were anything like her infamous MTV Cribs episode, it would be pure gold.

“I couldn’t handle being on a reality show, I couldn’t handle having people with cameras on me all the time. It’s already like that, it’s too much.” We understand, Mariah.
