Remember in 2011 when you heard Absolutely Fabulous, BBC’s hit show about hangers-on, would become a movie? And then last January, when writer Jennifer Saunders confirmed that she’d finished the script? Now there’s proof that it’s all really happening, sweetie dahhhling.

Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, starring Saunders and Joanna Lumley in their original roles as Edina and Patsy from the ’90s coke-and-cigarettes-dipped series, has officially begun shooting. The cast and crew are on location in France for seven weeks, according to Entertainment Weekly, as the script “sees the pair forced to flee to the French Riviera after being blamed for a major incident at an uber-fashionable launch party.”

Sounds about right.
