@jessacecilia: I laughed out loud during R.R. it was so ridiculous. The Reader... it just didn't bring anything new to the conversation of post-war German guilt and culpability, imo. #jenniferlopez

@LaComtesse: I don't disagree with your take on The Reader but I did enjoy it. And I think my hope for R.R. was that it was going to be Titanic 2. I was so excited to see the two on the same screen together that I was severely disappointed when the film during out to be so drab.

And also. who in god's name are the people who loved it so much? I'd like to talk to the Academy about this one.

Andre is passionately anti-abortion but accepted his glamour model wife needed the procedure after a doctor told her there were "complications" with the pregnancy.

Seriously, Andre? She had to terminate a pregnancy because of medical reasons and now you're upset because she's "betraying" you by talking about it? News flash, not everything is about you. You are not the victim in this. I never had strong feelings either way about either of them, but after reading this, I am strongly Team Jordan.

@Diziet_Sma: What's with people thinking black and white are a perfect match for ANY occasion? Monochromatic homes are nearly uninhabitable. That said, that round bathtub is pretty awesome, too bad the rest of the bathroom is so ugly.

Snark all you want, but the semester I lost my dog I had a nervous breakdown and failed all my classes. I don't care what anyone says, when you have a fucked up family (which it seems j.simp does) your dog is sometimes the only person who seems to unconditionally love you.

I have to admit, despite my dislike for her, I feel really bad for Jessica Simpson. I can't imagine how horrible it must be to have your dog carried off by a coyote, or other animal. As the owner of a 2.9 lb chihuahua, I'm scared to let her outside alone, for fear of hawks, or even squirrels. (She's bite-sized!) I would freak if anything happened to her. She's my baby! So, I understand how Jessica is in a bad place and grieving.

After all, they're not just pets, they're members of the family.

@Urban Sombrero: I was telling my husband last night about the sad loss of Jessica Simpson's pup and we both agreed that it would be heartbreaking and devastating to lose one of our dogs, let alone by having them snatched by a carnivore in front of our eyes. We have a pomeranian and a chihuahua and neither of them could really put up a fight.

Anyone making fun of her plight is just mean. Pets are so much a part of a family and their loss, especially in this way, is cause for grief.

@JBae (née JSouth): I know. I feel so bad for her. I haven't ever lost a pet but I worry about the day I will. My oldest cat is 15 and she is getting older. Pets are important, you spend hours of the day with them and they are just part of your life and family.

Being engaged for a while is awesome. You get to have rad parties and make googly eyes at your fiance and no one cares because you're ENGAGED and you can change your Facebook status and register for things at Sur La Table with one of those sweet guns. It's a shame you won't get to enjoy all of these things.

From the LA Times: "Khloe and Lamar want to get married before Lamar has to go away for training, and the season starts up [this fall]," a source told Us Weekly. "They are hoping to pull together a wedding within the next few weeks so they can get married and have a honeymoon.

Surely there are better reasons to get married after a week of being engaged than wanting to go on a honeymoon? This sounds like a recipe for divorce.

I was at the Coldplay/Kay Z concert at wembley and it wasn't 'weird' at all. If anything it was expected that Jay z would come out when they did 'lost' as theyd collaborated on that song!
Not sure why anyone would describe two people who are known to be good friends hugging as weird?
