I do love Kristen Chenoweth. That said, Pushing Daisies on the return mis-stepped when it couldn't afford to mis-step at the lead-in into its second season.
It had the great misfortune of having the writer's strike cut it off halfway, so essentially it had to grab its audience a second time. Chuck got cancelled too, i think all of the pilots from the strike times did.
It's a shame. Though she definitely deserved the award. Olive singing on television was literally always a joy to watch.
@katie.scarlett.o'hara: I cheered right after the foot incident when Pete caught Peggy, and my roommate had never watched the show before so she thought I was crazy and I was excited about the blood or something.
@katie.scarlett.o'hara: I'm not watching MM until I can get the crew together tonight or tomorrow (Emmys took precedent tonight) but if LOST doesn't SWEEP next year I will throw a fit.
@a magician named gob: Apparently she has a chronic inner ear condition similar to vertigo, and it means she often gets shaky and unbalanced to the point having to lie down in a dark room for hours. I'm assuming that's what happened here. Poor Kristen!
@ronniedobbs: thanks! you too!
side note: I also just realized i might be the only person on here connected through facebook, and thus I get to have no snazzy name :(
Lost this past year kind of disappointed me, I thought they really put the plot ahead of the characters, but I really love the show and I'm glad Michael Emerson won. I wish Josh Holloway had been nominated this year because he was amazing. I think Lost will be rolling in Emmy's next year for sure, though. And I will be weeping all the way through.

Not that I don't like Alec Baldwin. I guess I'm just biased because I'm completely in love with Sheldon Cooper.

Chuck's coming back? I thought it was dead.

For the record, I couldn't see any of the live blog all night. I just looked at this one last time, and it was all there. Bizarre.

ETA from Wiki: Chenoweth has Ménière's disease, an inner-ear disorder which can cause vertigo, among other symptoms. She has said that, during some performances, she has had to literally lean on her co-stars to keep her balance.
