@..now it's just Aesop's Foibles.: Although you're right, the sleeve cap looks a little too-tight, I believe the pleating around the bust was intentional. At least, that was my operational assumption in rating it a qualified Good.
@..now it's just Aesop's Foibles.: yup. and whats up with the waist? I think the dress was supposed to be drapy but its hard to do drapy with big boobs (personal experience) and the extra boobage often pulls the rest of the fabric in a weird way.
Toe cleavage just doesn't look as good when I do it.... it looks accidental.
And Leslie Mann should do a guest spot on Mad Men for sure.
TODAY'S THE DAY!
Has anyone else seen the Mad Men tie-in clothes at Banana Republic? The women's clothes are OK, but I was hoping for some sex-ay Joan dresses and full-skirted Betty numbers (toned-down skirt, of course, no one's wearing one of those today). I was disappointed.
@Maritsa: Yeah, I was really disappointed by the collection. It looked just like boring, basic BR clothing. There was little to none of the Mad Men spirit in the collection. I too was looking for Joan wiggle dresses and skirts and Betty full skirts.
I saw it today and was disappointed. It *is* too long. I love going to the movies, but I felt my attention wandering and I was checking the time a lot during the last hour.
While this film looks hilarious and adorable and like I'd heartily enjoy it, I still feel sick every time I see it since I saw this special on making it, because by "funny people" they mean "funny men, with one token girl". The only other girl is, of course, the love interest. And naturally, she's not funny.
As someone who finds Adam Sandler films unbearably awful I thought he was perfect in Punch Drunk Love. Seeing a reviewer compare this performance favourably to that makes me more likely to go see Funny People.
@nessalicious: I like his other films, but agree about Punch Drunk Love and was going to comment on that. He is wonderful in that film and it doesn't shock me that he could do it again.
I can see why it's 2 1/2 hours. Between failed stand up, fighting over The Cable Guy and canceled show after canceled show, Judd Apatow has A LOT of stuff to work out.

Seriously, comedy. Please work on this.

Was that really necessary, Chicago Sun-Times?

Otherwise, you're weird. Jeez, don't they teach the kiddies anything these days? Fat actors aren't any good or attractive.
