    I'm willing to give Ben Affleck the benefit of the doubt, as he seems to have returned to normal since his marriage to Jennifer Garner.


    But in the Bennifer heyday, he played right along with it. I'll never forget the stories of them driving a Bentley down to the south shore, and stopping to sign autographs and pose for pix at a seafood shack. And that 25 carat pink diamond wasn't exactly subtle.

    @Andalucía: I hate myself for knowing this, but I remember watching the Making the Video of that video (Jenny from the Block) and Ben was vocally uncomfortable with the entire experience. At the end of the shoot, he said he'd never do anything like that again.


    That's not excusing him for playing a part in the media frenzy that was that relationship, but he was young and in love with a woman who, let's all admit, he never would have dated under 'normal' (meaning them both not being in Hollywood) circumstances. So I give him a pass for being young and dumb and in love. I think he learned his lesson.
