    I hope he's actually having the religious crisis he seems to be claiming. He deserves to have a nice heap of mental anguish for his behavior, and might learn to have some compassion for people who don't fit in his little idealized box of how things should be.

    @inabook: I hope so too, but have my doubts. I've written about this before, but it seems to me that most politicians have such a high level of self-regard that it is impossible for them to view their own actions as equivalent to the actions of others. They always seem to believe they are on a different plane, even when they are trying to say the "right" thing and act contrite.

    God never intended for me to do this. I walked away from Him and my relationship with Him has suffered terribly. I know He loves me and He loves you.


    Ensign/Hampton/God love triangle, you guys! Only now Ensign realized that God is so important to him, the most important thing in his life and he can't live without him, and God decided that, even though Ensign cruelly betrayed his trust by sleeping with Cynthia Hampton, he'll take Ensign back and they'll try to work past it.


    I like this a lot.
