Study Makes a Case For 'National Befriend a Slut Day'

Those darn slutty, slutty sluts, all going around and having sex with other human people when they want to and other WACK shit like that, are not too busy being sluts to have female friends, but we don’t want them because we’re all Patty Simcox, according to a graduate study from the Cornell College of Human Ecology.

The study, “Birds of a Feather? Not When It Comes to Sexual Permissiveness,” published online in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, surveyed 721 college students, both male and female. They were asked to provide information about their sexual experiences and views on sexual permissiveness, and then given an almost-identical profile of a male or female peer — the only difference being that one featured two sexual partners and the other featured twenty.

Men with a higher number of sex partners favored men with less sexual experience for friendship on only 2 of 10 traits, due to mate-guarding, which researchers speculate is an evolutionary reason. But why the more promiscuous women didn’t want to be friends with the like-minded girls in the study was somewhat more convoluted.

Head researcher Zhana Vrangalova says: “What surprised us in this study is how unaccepting promiscuous women were of other promiscuous women when it came to friendships – these are the very people one would think they could turn to for support.” She attributes most of the female wariness to due to a social stigma of simply being associated with such a girl socially. As a result of this ostracism and isolation, the promiscuous women denied the friendship of other women face poor psychological and physical heath. Fucked uppp.
