New DWTS Cast: Betsey Johnson and the Dude from Mean Girls

The new cast of Dancing with the Stars has been announced and it certainly is interesting, featuring fashion designer Betsey Johnson, Carlton from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Jonathan Bennett, everybody’s love interest with the side-swept hair from Mean Girls.

While the last season of the show was heavy on the athletes, the cast for season 19, which premieres September 15, consists of mostly actors:

Julianne Hough is back, but as a judge this time, which has apparently been a source of drama, as her brother Derek will be competing as a dancer and some people think it’s not “ethical” for her to judge him. Yes, if Dancing with the Stars wasn’t a show and it was a real competition, sure. This just seems par for the course.
