Mike Tyson Calls Host a 'Piece of Shit' For Mentioning Rape Conviction

Mike Tyson does not like to be reminded of the fact that he is a convicted rapist. A talk show in Canada found that out the hard way.

Tyson was on CP24 with news anchor Nathan Downer, discussing his recent meeting (and endorsement of) embattled crack-smoking Toronto Mayor Rob Ford. During that interview, things got tense when Downer brought up Tyson’s 1992 rape conviction. Via ABC:

Downer asked: “Some of your critics would say, ‘There’s a race for mayor. We know you’re a convicted rapist. This could hurt his campaign.’ How would respond to that?”
Tyson calls Downer negative before saying, “It’s so interesting, you come off like a nice guy,” then insulting the anchor with a string of profanity.
Downer then puts up his hands and says “Hey, come on. We’re doing live TV now.”
Tyson responds: “I don’t care. What are you going to do about it?”

Downer tried to carry on with the interview, but Tyson (who has clearly tackled all those anger management issues) couldn’t let it go. “It’s so interesting that you come across like a nice guy, but you’re really a piece of s**t … f**k you, that was a piece of s**t.”

Tyson was convicted in 1992 of rape in Indiana and served three years of a six year sentence.

After the on air incident, Downer tweeted that he was fine and bore no ill will towards Tyson for what happened:

Here is footage of the incident:

Shia Lebouf pleaded guilty on Wednesday to charges of disorderly conduct stemming from a batshit crazy meltdown he had during a performance of Cabaret in New York City in June. The court will dismiss the charges if he completes treatment for three months and does not get arrested again. Yeah, buddy. YOU DO NOT DISRUPT ALAN CUMMING, OK? [ABC]

The new Rambo movie (hahahahaa) starring Sylvester Stallone will reportedly be called “Rambo 5: Last Blood.” That’s after nixxing titles including “Rambo 5: Why For The Love of God Am I Still Doing This?” and “Rambo 5: It’s Cool, We Can Market it To Stoned Hipsters as Retro.” [Slashfilm]

Music executive Clive Davis, who launched the careers of singers like Whitney Houston and Christina Aguilera, is a ccused of being the “other man” in a very nasty South Carolina divorce. I cannot wait to hear the Kelly Clarkson song about this. [TMZ]

Charlie Sheen, savior of humanity, said he will give the waiter who was stiffed by NFL player LeSean McCoy $1,000. Unfortunately, the donation is in the form of a $1,000 worth of copies of Terminal Velocity signed by Sheen. [TMZ]

Speaking of pregnancy, I completely forgot Mila Kunis is about to have a baby Ashton Kutchner. Her bump is “adorable” apparently. [E! Online]

Zosia Mament said she is totally cool with how Taylor Swift sees her character on Girls as a kindred spirit. This is celebrity code for “I have chosen to accept your challenge to take the Seven Sacrifices of the Coven and will meet you at midnight on the even of the first moon to prove my loyalty under the Tree of Eternal Blood.” Cool, sounds like they will be besties!
