Lucas Oil Founder Is 'Sick and Tired of Minorities Running' America

The founder of a multi-million dollar oil products company posted a disturbing rant on Facebook blaming minorities, atheists and Muslims for “running” the country.

Indiana businesswoman Charlotte Lucas, who founded Lucas Oil in 1989 along with her husband, let her racist flag fly on Facebook recently.

“I’m sick and tired of minorities running our country!” Lucas stated. “As far as I’m concerned, I don’t think that atheists (minority), muslims (minority) n or any other minority group has the right to tell the majority of the people in the United States what they can and cannot do here. Is everyone so scared that they can’t fight back for what is right or wrong with his country?”

Nice talk for someone serving as executive vice president of Lucas Oil Products. According to Forbes, her husband Forrest Lucas is worth about $300 million. The stadium where the Indianapolis Colts play bears the name of their company . Here’s some depressing photos of the couple giving a tour of their 25,000 square foot home.

For those ready to charge with the “she could have been hacked” or “this is a hoax” claims, turns out she has confirmed that yes, she wrote this hot mess of racist, bigoted bullshit. Lucas spoke to WRTV and gave them one of the most batshit crazy non-apologies ever:

In a phone call with Call 6 Investigator Rafael Sanchez, Lucas confirmed the Facebook post.
“I was very upset when I wrote that,” she said. “I will not elaborate other than to say that there are certain people who are trying to make the whole world eat what they want to eat and do what they want to do. I don’t think it’s any of their business what I put in my mouth. Thank you.”

What the hell do atheists, Muslims and “minorities” have to do with what you eat, lady? Does she think atheists spy outside her home and report on what she’s eating for lunch? “OH MY GOD. SHE PUT MUSTARD ON THAT SANDWICH AND DIDN’T USE MAYO. LET’S GET HER, BOYS!” Never mind; I’m going to go insane trying to make sense of this hogwash.

Immediately after that baffling crap, she issued an official apology, written by whoever has the shitty job of coming up with dumb apologies for racists:

I apologize to everyone for the insensitive comments posted on my Facebook account. My comments did not reflect my personal views about any individual or minority group, only my frustration that our government system sometimes seems out of balance. We live in a great country, but the agenda for our elected officials is too often dictated by special interest groups. My comments did not reflect my true feelings, and I am sorry for anyone who may have been offended.

Oh the good ole’ “sorry if you were offended” apology! That’s like the Taco Bell of apologies. It’s shitty but people can’t seem to keep themselves away from it. The company’s lawyer also issued a half-assed apology, reminding the public that Lucas Oil is a “family-owned, American company.” Uh-huh.

Don’t forget, Charlotte Lucas was honored earlier this year with a “Spirit Award” from the Madame Walker Theatre. The gave her the award for her work in philanthropy, business, arts and culture. This year it seems like she has a lock on the “Bigot Award” for racist bile spewed on the Internet that does untold damage to your company’s public image. Fingers crossed, Charlotte!
