Jennifer Garner Responds to Oscars Meme, Which Is Honestly Thrilling for Me Personally

Jennifer Garner has responded to a tweet that paired a video from the 2018 Oscars ceremony of her abruptly stopping her applause with the caption, “What realization did Jennifer Garner just come to?” This is a big deal because, in a way, she’s responding directly to me, an idiot.

On Sunday night I tweeted this [admittedly terrible] cell phone video of my television:

And Monday night, Garner shared these videos on her Instagram story:

Her three “realizations” were:

“Congrats to Shape of Water! Maybe I should date a fish?”
“Hey Jimmy Kimmel, what’s in your wallet? Wait where’s my wallet?”
“Can’t wait to work with Lena Dunham! Wait did I sign a nudity waiver?”

Allow me to explain these “jokes”: The first is a reference to the night’s big winner The Shape of Water, which is about a woman who dates a fish. The second is a reference to her most iconic role, that of Capital One spokesperson. And the third is a reference to her upcoming HBO series Camping, created by Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner.

Isn’t that fun? I think that’s fun. Jennifer Garner seems fun.

Lee Pace has followed up on a W piece (written by Brian Moylan) in which he kinda sorta came out after expressing his opinion that gay roles should be played by gay actors. In a series of tweets, the Pushing Daisies star (currently starring in the revival of Angels In America) wrote:
