Janice Dickinson Files Defamation Suit Against Bill Cosby

Janice Dickinson—one of many women who’ve accused Bill Cosby of rape—is now formally suing him for defamation.

Last November, Dickinson gave her account of Cosby’s alleged 1982 sexual assault and said she remembers the comedian “dropping his robe and getting on top of me.”

She also shared a photo of Cosby in a robe that she says was taken in the hotel room that day.

According to TMZ:

The statute of limitations has long since run, but Dickinson says she has a fresh claim after Cosby’s team released a statement saying she had fabricated the story.

So now Dickinson is suing Cosby for defamation and emotional distress. In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, she’s asking for unspecified damages.

Cosby recently said a whole lot of nothing about the accusations during a GMA appearance.
