Sorry Game of Thrones fans who don't like to watch their cable television shows on cable television. Once again, HBO Go crashed during an extremely popular program, causing viewers to collectively lose their shit on the Internet.
HBO Go subscribers and people who borrowed logins from friends and family found themselves in the same predicament as last month when the on demand service crashed during the True Detective finale. This time, problems occurred during the Game of Thrones Season 4 premiere episode. According to Time, the issues were fixed in about an hour, but not before fans on the Internet got hilariously pissed about it.
HBO GO - YOU HAD ONE JOB. LET ME WATCH THE GAME OF THRONES PREMIERE AND STOP CRASHING.

Game of Thrones has started and all I can see is HBO Go's loading screen of death.

Of course, HBO didn't lose their sense of humor about the whole thing:

Finally, this guy wins everything for the night:
I’m outraged about @HBOGO. Someone else’s parents pay good money for HBO and I expect to be able to watch what I want when I want.
