Here's What Lady Gaga's Meat Dress Looks Like Five Years Later

Latest

Lady Gaga’s infamous meat dress has a new home: The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland. And while Gaga still owns the dress (so she can take it back when she decides the beef jerky look is in), you can see it at the museum for the foreseeable future. Or now, if you have the stomach for it.

The dress was preserved with dye and formaldehyde and is a first for conservators, who’ve never worked with meats as fashion before. Marie Claire reports that the last time someone made a meat dress, it was just left to rot, so there’s no precedent for this. What a time to be alive!

You want to see a picture? Of course you do! Who needs to ever sleep or eat again, amirite? (pro-tip: don’t watch the video above if you can’t handle the pics.)

Here’s another hot photo of this “crunchy” monstrosity, which kind of resembles bloody bacon at this point. The kind of stuff you buy on clearance.

Gaga’s piano is also on display. But let’s be real: no one’s showing up to see that.
