Here's Christina Aguilera Impersonating Britney, Cher and Miley

Christina Aguilera’s impersonation of Samantha Jones is astoundingly good. So good, in fact, that she’s been asked to perform it on camera more than once. But doing a perfect Samantha Jones appears to be where her talent for celebrity impersonations ends, because this “digital exclusive” filmed for the finale of The Voice is filled with Aguilera’s less than perfect versions of Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Sia, and, for some reason, Cher.

It’s not that they’re bad, they’re just not right. When it comes to imitations, even a few degrees from spot-on can feel like miles. Aguilera is clearly comfortable on camera, and there’s something charming about her willingness to be this goofy for the sake of comedy, but being Cher is about more than dressing up like Cher. Being Miley is about more than that foam finger. Being Sia is about more than…OK, being Sia is just about wearing a wig.
