Here Is Billy Dee Williams' Epic DWTS Star Wars Disco Dance With R2D2

Billy Dee Williams danced a Star Wars-themed cha-cha on the Dancing With The Stars’ premiere tonight and it truly was glorious. No—it was not just “glorious.” It was THE ABSOLUTE BEST THING EVER.

In what can only be described as one of the most amazing dance dance performances of all time on a reality show Williams aka Lando Calrissian aka your husband if you were a grown woman in 1980 had one of the most memorable debuts of the night. There were stormtroopers and R2D2 and Princess Leia and THERE WERE EWOKS CHEERING HIM ON IN THE AUDIENCE.

But while he and partner Emma Slater may have wowed the Internet and seriously drunk Star Wars fans, the judges were not so impressed with their performance of the cha-cha. Via Wet Paint:

Bruno joked that he’s still mad at Billy for freezing Han Solo. Bruno said he wants more attack from Billy. “Bigger, more powerful!” Carrie Ann called him a “relaxed” dancer, but said they need a little more from him. Bruno told him he was on time, he got through the routine, and basically he did a good job.
