TCA (that Television Critics Association event that seems to happen once a month) happened again this week, and
Tracy Morgan showed up to talk about his new TBS comedy called
The Last O.G. But this item isn’t about a new show, it is about what Morgan revealed about his health.
As you certainly remember, the comedian was critically injured in a major car accident three years ago (in which his close friend James McNair was killed). He told TCA he’s still recovering, adding:
“I was always a believer before. Before that truck hit me, I was a believer before with all I’d been through. It just brought me closer to him. Spiritually, it just brought me closer to him…I could’ve lost my life, so I’m here now and I’m going to do it right and that’s what [The Last O.G.] is based on. If you’ve seen the show, you’ve seen I’m going to do [life] right. A lot of stuff will change if you’re going to do it right.”
