Court Order Prevents Release of Fourth Anti-Abortion Video

Latest

The Los Angeles Superior Court issued a temporary restraining order on Tuesday prohibiting the ironically-named Center for Medical Progress from releasing its latest video, which features officials from fetal tissue provider StemExpress.

The anti-abortion group, which has previously released three heavily-edited videos of a Planned Parenthood official discussing fetal tissue donation, claims to have nine more inflammatory videos planned for release. StemExpress is one of the companies to which Planned Parenthood legally provides fetal tissue for research purposes; a spokesperson told the Associated Press that the company is “grateful its rights have been vindicated in a court of law.”

The Center for Medical Progress’s Catholic boy-king, 26-year-old pro-lifer David Daleiden, is feeling quite victimized at the moment. According to the AP:

In a statement Wednesday, center leader David Daleiden said StemExpress was using “meritless litigation” to cover up an “illegal baby parts trade.”
“The Center for Medical Progress follows all applicable laws in the course of our investigative journalism work,” he said.

The restraining order will remain in place until a hearing on August 19.
