Chris Martin Says Conscious Uncoupling From Gwyneth Was All His Fault

Chris Martin says he’s to blame for the conscious uncoupling from Gwyneth Paltrow.

“About two years ago I was a mess, really, because I can’t enjoy the things that we are good at and I can’t enjoy the great things around me because I’m burdened by this,” he tells BBC 1. “I’ve got to not blame anyone else and make some changes.” He says he had a “realization about trying to grow up, basically.” Sigh. When you try your best, but you don’t succeed… When you get what you want, but not what you need… Something something, fix you. [NYDN]

Rihanna and Katy Perry were seen gyrating and grinding and undulating and generally dancing up on each other in a club in New York; a witness claims it was “one step away from a lesbian love scene!” A dream is a wish your heart makes and I am dreaming that video of these two grooving will surface. Victoria Beckham celebrated her 40th birthday over the weekend by partying in London with the other Spice GirlsBaby, Ginger, and Sporty. Scary was missing, but David Beckham, the aforementioned Chris Martin and Guy Ritchie were there, if that makes up for it at all (it doesn’t, I know). [NYDN]
