On Wednesday Brie Larson posted a statement to Instagram regarding the recent allegations against Los Angeles movie theater Cinefamily.
The post was in response to an anonymous email circulated on Monday among members of the film community accusing two men that work at Cinefamily of sexually assaulting and harassing young women who worked at the theater. On Wednesday Jezebel published a piece featuring interviews with former employees and volunteers of Cinefamily who described physical intimidation and sexism in the workplace.
Larson, who is a member of the Cinefamily Advisory Board according to the current website, posted this statement to her Instagram:
Jezebel reached out to Larson via her representatives, who declined to comment further.
