Although it sometimes feels like Bravo is solely a platform for Teresa Giudice's breasts and manipulations, the cable channel is making a push into scripted TV with The Girlfriends' Guide to Getting Your Groove Back.
Written and EP'ed by Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Glee producer Marti Noxon, the pilot is about the author of a self-help book series who's hiding her separation from her husband from the public. Starting her life over again as a single woman in her 40s, she gets herself into "startling new adventures".
That all sounds good to me — shows that star 40-year-old women are few and far between, and Noxon is a formidable talent. Dear Bravo, please run this back to back with Shahs of Sunset so we can drink all the wine and laugh and laugh forever. Thank you for your consideration.
