Amy Schumer Will Open For Madonna's Rebel Heart Tour in New York

Amy Schumer will be the opening act for Madonna’s New York shows on her upcoming Rebel Heart Tour.

The comedian will kick off Madonna’s tenth global tour on September 16, 17 and 19. Both ladies seem really jazzed about the whole thing and shared their excitement on Twitter:

Sure, this is neat and all, but this decision seems to be yet another move by Madonna to extract the coolness of others instead of just chilling out a bit and going back to being cool and interesting on her own.

I’m not sure that I really want to be greeted with a comedy routine right before a concert, but if anyone can pull it off, I’m sure Amy can.
