Way More Female Facebook Users Are Voting (or Talking About Voting) Than Men

Latest

According to this addictive Facebook Stories voting app that breaks down voting demographics and lets you “watch” users vote in real time, women are outnumbering men among active Facebook voters 2-to-1. 30% of voters are between the ages of 25-34.

The numbers reflect people who clicked an Election Day prompt to share with their friends that they’re getting out the vote, so it could be more of a reflection on how more women use Facebook/post status updates in general.

Either way, the app is fun (and oddly soothing, with all of those blue popping blobs) to look at if you have to tear yourself away from Nate Silver for a few moments.
