Will There Be A Pushing Daisies Comic Book?

According to Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller, the dearly beloved (and prematurely canceled) show about a pie maker who has the power to bring people back to life will get a second life of its own in the form of a comic book.

Fuller, who is also known for creating gone-too-soon shows such as Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls, has been kind enough to grace us with a sneak preview of the comic book, via a few sample pages.

It seems the comic will likely be in full color, which is fitting since the show was well-known for being brightly and cheerfully colored.

While it may be impossible to fully replicate the old-fashioned charm and overwhelming adorability of the show and its cast, I don’t doubt Fuller’s ability to get as close to that goal as possible.
