Goodbye Without Leaving

Dear friends,

After almost three years at Jezebel, today marks my last day. (Yes, William and Kate worked around me.)

I wanted to thank you all being a warmly supportive community who’s taken the time to read my work and to share your thoughts. I feel like I know a lot of you; several have become friends. I’ll be dropping by Jez occasionally, so this isn’t a permanent goodbye — and I hope you’ll visit me at the Paris Review, where you can find me come late May.

Take it from me, there’s no better group of women than the ones who make this site happen, and it’s been my privilege to know and work with them. But you’re on notice, ladies: I expect a star.
