Hand Raised Baby Wallaby Lives In Backpack, Steals Hearts

Today in things that make you go, “Awww!”: an orphaned wallaby named Pip spends his days being lugged around in a backpack by his 29 year old handler at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo outside of London.

Alex takes her with her everywhere and is in charge of feeding and socializing the little marsupial until Pip’s old enough to live on her own in a section of the zoo that contains other hand-raised wallabies.
