Apple Removes App That Promised "Gay Cure"

If you’re looking to transfer your homophobia to a mobile platform, there’s no longer an app for that. After more than 146,000 people signed a petition condemning Exodus International’s “gay cure” app, Apple has removed it from the App Store. Wayne Besen of Truth Wins Out, which organized the petition, said, “Apple made a wise and responsible decision to dump an offensive app that demonized gay and lesbian people.”
