Drinking six cups of coffee may reduce you ladies to sweaty midmorning jittery paranoia, but it might also be benefiting your heart.
A new study found that women who consume more than two or three cups of coffee on a daily basis enjoy a 25% reduction in heart attack risk. Up to six cups of sweet, precious elixir of morning can be consumed without increasing risk of early death. Similar benefits are not enjoyed by men, although bonging java isn't going to kill them, either.
As someone who is sustained by about the equivalent of 8 cups of coffee and 5 hours of sleep per day, this is excellent news, although I'm dubious about the timing of its release. Isn't Starbucks debuting that gigantic coffee vat right around now?
