"Designer Vagina" Doctor Sued For Sexual Harassment

Dr. Robert Rho, a doctor who specializes in “designer vagina” surgery, is being sued for sexual harassment. And his lawyer doesn’t think the other side is giving his specialty the respect it deserves.

According to the NY Daily News, former receptionist Jiyeon Byun told a jury last week that Rho began aggressively “hitting on her” when she was his employee in 2008, kissing her and inviting her on trips to Atlantic City. This isn’t the only accusation against him — another woman, Susan Dombrowski, is also suing him. She says he demanded kisses in return for giving her a free laser treatment, and once said, “I should liposuction your belly and transfer the fat into your breasts.”

Dr. Rho’s lawyer Karl Stocker is apparently arguing that Byun didn’t do enough to resist Rho’s advances. He acknowledges that Rho did kiss Byun over a dinner one night, but says, “She didn’t stop him. She didn’t say, ‘Dr. Rho, you’re a married man.'” Because obviously it’s the employee’s job to aggressively fight off sexual harassment — otherwise she must like it. Stocker also objected to Byun’s lawyer’s description of Rho’s occupation: “He makes your vajayjay look nicer.” We agree that the vagina is deserving of respect. But if the allegations are true, it’s clear that Rho and his harassing ways are not.
