We’re always on the lookout for blogs we don’t know, and since being directed to “Postulations from my simian posture,” I’ve been hooked. Seriously, if you’re on the lookout for distinctive voices and incidentally could use a little inspiration, the London 20-year-old’s is well worth reading. Yes, she talks about living with chronic pain and the many operations that make up much of her recent life. But while it’s a terrific illustration of the utility of the blog to tell the specific story, its reach is more universal. In short, it’s a reminder of what a good blog can be: telling one person’s story and connecting it to others in the process. Not to mention, exposing us to young writers we wouldn’t otherwise get to see. Not yet, anyway.
