Elisabeth Hasselbeck Changes Her View On Miss USA "Bad Girl" Behavior

Last night on Larry King, guest Elisabeth Hasselbeck alleged that risqué photos of Carrie Prejean surfaced because she’s the victim of a liberal “witch hunt.” Elisabeth sang a different tune about a previous pageant scandal.

Elisabeth maintains that if Carrie Prejean had said she agrees with gay marriage then none of this would be happening, and her past indiscretions would never have been made public. (This may be true, but the media loves a beauty pageant scandal — namely inappropriate photos — no matter where the contestant stands on gay marriage.)

But back in 2006, when discussing the behavior of Tara Conner (who partied, and, gasp!, kissed another girl) Elisabeth wasn’t nearly as compassionate.
