The forthcoming Daring Book for Girls is meant to teach young women skills that are not stereotypically “feminine”, like how to play cards, how to make a handlebar-scooter from scratch, and how to do karate. It seems like an admirable enough idea, until you watch the video that publisher’s marketing department made to advertise the book.
