Celebrity talk shows are usually nothing more than a PR exercise/circle jerk – and not the fun kind. But it seems that The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet — executive produced by Demi Moore — is sexing things up in a very real way, with Amanda asking guests like Gwyneth Paltrow, Zoe Saldana, Sarah Silverman and Jane Fonda to dish on their favorite sexual position. "What? I have children and my mother is going to see this show," said Paltrow, before caving. "I'm down with all of them." Saldana, however, had zero issue with providing a little more detail. "I like missionary. I like being on my knees, too, you know," she said. "I love being on top. Oh, I have more, honey." Ditto for Silverman, who "like[s] a variety." But Fonda put them all to shame by saying that even though she's not as limber as she once was she still gives it a crack. "While I am quite flexible and I can kneel, it's not quite as comfortable for me as it used to be before I had a fake knee," she said. I'm definitely tuning in. [Page Six]
The Kardashians came into contact with their SNL counterparts on Monday night and though you'd expect weaves and Herve Leger bandage dresses to be flying, apparently everyone was rather civil. We were introduced to them onstage in front of the entire event… It was so fun to finally meet these talented comediennes!" [NYDN]
Though many babies are born naturally evil and hell-bent on destruction, Jessica Simpson's grandma was overheard saying how much of a legend her granddaughter, Maxwell Drew, is at a Starbucks near the hospital. "Jessica has wanted to be a mom since we were little girls and I couldn't be more excited for her and Eric!" [Us, People]
More on the birth: fellow celebrities have been Tweeting their congrats to Jessica Simpson, with everything from well-wishes to offensive observations. "Congrats to Jessica Simpson!" wrote Alyson Hannigan. "Does this mean I now have the biggest baby bump in Hollywood?" And while Snooki backtracked after saying she'd die if she got as big as Simpson with "I love the girl and her hot ass bump," Jason Biggs was a bit of a tool: "Are the rumors true? Did Jessica Simpson just give birth to a couch? Jessica Simpson named her baby Maxwell Drew Johnson. But apparently they are already calling her by a nickname, Weather Balloon Johnson." [Us]
If the movie is half as exciting as the casting and shooting woes to befall production – with Demi Moore being replaced by Sarah Jessica Parker due to a whip-it related frenzy, among other hijinks – then Lovelace will be worth coughing up cash for, or at least the time it takes to stream it. And we'll soon find out because the poster was released today, with Amanda Seyfried taking centre stage. [Daily Mail]
