Your Afternoon Cry: Teaching Girls to Use Power Tools

This is rad. Girls at Work is a non-profit that teaches young women to use power tools to build things, empowering them to get busy with their hands and become incredibly competent. I wish I'd learned to do this stuff, what a cool skill to have. I want to take one of these class immediately. Do you think they accept more mature students? I will bring cookies. (Shit, am I doing this wrong?)

One of the young ladies in the video says, "I've learned that it doesn't really matter what gender you are, you can still do the same things that men can do." And then I adopted her and we were best friends forever.
