World's Ugliest Dog Too Good for This World, Is Now Running Heaven

Elwood, the New Jersey canine who was once crowned the World’s Ugliest Dog, died on Thanksgiving in his home state. He was eight years old, and very ugly.

Elwood’s owner, Karen Quigley, said he’d been dealing with heath issues in recent months but appeared to be doing well. Super sad. Quigley rescued Elwood in 2005 when he was about nine months old. “The breeder was going to euthanize him because she thought he was too ugly to sell,” Quigley said. Poor Elwood! You brave little butt-ugly rascal.

RIP, adorable-on-the-inside Elwood.
