Vulture is reporting that HBO has ordered a pilot based on a Maureen Dowd book that will star Whitney Cummings. The book in question is 2005’s “ruckus raising” Are Men Necessary? When Sexes Collide.
The show is being described as a relationship comedy about “modern relationships that focuses on human nature and social construction using documentary elements and appearances from experts to help the characters understand the biological basis of their behavior.”
