What Fast Food Really Looks Like

Latest

A side-by-side comparison of fast food as it’s pictured in advertising versus the food you actually purchase is even more of a fail than you’d think.

Dario D. visited several fast food places, brought food home, and photographed it, in order to compare it to fast food ads. He did his best to try and to match the lighting and angles.

He admits that “burger size/presentation can certainly vary from location to location,” but notes that while we’re inundated with glistening, colorful burgers and tacos, the product never appears as advertised.

Dario writes: “I happily pitch the idea that lawmakers are committing a crime against us people by allowing us to be continually insulted by this advertising, and consequently this pursuit of technical correctness, in defiance of human perception.”
