Remember the Sassers? You know, the couple that auditioned for American Idol together, but only husband Jordan made it past the first round, prompting wife Alex to get very upset and very real when she didn’t? Their saga continues.
The first episode of Hollywood Week airing Wednesday night brought Jordan back for a performance of Tori Kelly’s “Should’ve Been Us.” FOX aired a brief clip of Alex on Facetime saying, “I love you! I’m so proud of you!” to him beforehand, a sentiment she reiterated on her personal Twitter account (the couple also share a joint account, and Jordan has his own).
And here she is freaking out when Jordan found out he was moving forward. “I’m kind of glad that a real moment between a husband and wife was shown on TV,” Jordan said in a recent interview. Well well well. We’ll just see, won’t we?
Meanwhile, another worship leader made it past the Hollywood Auditions, too. “The ladies already know, they already know,” Manny Torres said, while grooving and snapping. Mmhm.
