Watch This Woman Eat Two 72-Ounce Steaks in 15 Minutes

Competitive eater Molly Schuyler is back, destroying yet another record and becoming a Texas legend in the process.

On Monday, Schuyler, a mother of four, obliterated fellow competitive eater Joey Chestnut's steak-eating record at the Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo, Texas:

The challenge is a free meal to anyone who can eat the entire 72-ounce steak in one sitting within an hour, but has grown into another speed-eating challenge in professional circles. But it's not just that Schuyler broke Chestnut's record. According to the database, she nearly cut the seven-time July 4 Nathan's Hot Dog champion's record steak time in half — then ate another 72-ouncer for good measure.

That's right. She ate two of them. Schuyler finished the first steak with a time of 4:58, absolutely wiping out Joey Chesnut's 8:52 record. Then, she finished off the second steak meat in 9:59.

"We witnessed history," Big Texan co-owner Danny Lee said. "If there’s a zombie apocalypse, I want to stay away from this girl."

Last month Schuyler ate 12 pounds of pudding in three minutes and in January she ate a 4.5 steak in less than three minutes.

Ginger Is A Construct

Dude, this place is amazing. I went stayed at the adjacent hotel on a family tour of the National Parks of the Southwest 8 years ago. As of that time I think the youngest person to survive the challenge was a 12-year-old boy (per the menu) with the oldest a 70-something-year-old woman.

The adjacent hotel has two parts, one built to look like a row of old-timey brothels and saloons, the other a replica of the Alamo. In the middle is a pool in the shape of the state of Texas. If eating a 72-ounce steak isn't your druthers (or if you are, like I was at the time, a vegetarian) you can still get waffles in the shape of Texas at the restaurant, and drink your sweet tea out of a plastic boot. 5 stars, would go again!
