Watch the Trailer for #Horror, a Scary Movie About Cyber Bullying

Latest

A movie about cyber bullying unrelated to the Lifetime Movie Channel is coming out, and it has a lot of familiar faces.

Tara Subkoff wrote and directed #Horror, an obvious millennial-themed thriller centered around cyberbullying. According to Movieweb, Chloe Sevigny, a longtime friend and collaborator of Subkoff, will lead an ensemble cast that includes Natasha Lyonne, Taryn Manning, Lydia Hearst, Balthazar Getty, Timothy Hutton, and Annabelle Dexter-Jones.

The stylized trailer opens up with a group of 12-year-old girls playing dress up in masks and fur coats, during what looks like a sleepover with minimal adult supervision. IMDB describes the film as inspired by actual events, and follows the young girls whose obsession with a social media game “turns a moment of cyber bullying into a night of insanity.”

Subkoff is an actress and fashion designer known for her line Imitation of Christ. #Horror, which comes out in theaters on November 20, is her directorial debut.
